With all of those precautions, I don't remember reading anything about doing the transaction in the presence of a notary public!

Hmm. Raised my curiosity.... pasted it into Word, ran a word coundt, and noticed also, a line count..... 212 lines, 3,222 words. So the rate would have been..... um...... licking finger and testing the wind.... $161.10?

And how many times did she say "being sold AS IS"  ? I don't know much about used Globetrotter prices, but isn't that $3,000 starting bid a bit much considering those slight dents that aren't very noticable  ? I mean the BIG one on the port side in the photo and the BIG one on the top!

For the Sunday section I run at the Tribune, we pay between $200 and $400 for something that length. Of course, it has to be well written! Redundancy is frowned upon.
