Just as well. If I can't take Lucy, I don't want to go there.

If I fly, which is less and less likely with all the "oops" that the airlines and FAA keep producing, I would have to sleep on "their" sheets and walk on "their" carpets...and breathe "their" stale hotel air, ... uh, no thanks. Our Airstream takes us everythere, provides an airy (!) home with OUR things, and returns us safely. What's to wonder about? ~G

Group :

With all the issues the airlines are facing...

Do any of us really wonder why they are having such a hard time ??

As we get along in years, I've come to see the "fly away & stay in resorts" type holiday has less & less appeal than it has in the past.

Considering that in December we spent only $400 for 17days in a wonderful RV resort in Florida, surrounded with all of our own stuff & accompanied by our darling little Fur-kid (miniature schnauzer) is it any wonder that we've started to look at other "far more expensive" holiday options as just a rip-off ???

We're both 51 right now & these days we've come to the reality that we won't be able to see lots of things the world has out there due to $$$ restrictions, so we've decided to concentrate on the things that we will be able to do.

Thank goodness for discovering Airstream.

It's far more fuel-efficiant & streaches our holiday $$$ so much further.

I'd say the only thing that's nicer than travelling with your own toilet is the $$$ to be saved !!

P.
