1,230 lbs Shed in The Great Gut!

Work continues on The Norma Ann. We gutted her this weekend - floor and all. My husband said he'd like to have a few words with the person who "redid" the floor by putting new plywood on top of rotten plywood.

See the progress (and the filth) here:

Might have been a good idea to keep parts until you were through for patterns to rebuild cabinets and bulkhead walls, and beds, and all sorts of things. Hope it all works out. Good luck

I love the blog. Great photos AND a sense of humor - most necessary while renovating these old Queens. Carpet.. I've heard that after five years 30% of their weight comes from dirt....BLAH!

Awesome. Glad I found the blog while you're still in these semi-beginning stages. We're starting work on a 1963, so I'm excited to follow along.

One AWESOME thing is that my husband is a designer/carpenter/welder by trade. I may be jinxing us, but our greatest challenge is the refurb of the trailer and wall attachment. The rest is already designed, planned and ready.
