Help with wheel well damage

Yesterday a cement truck lost its chute in the middle of a high speed divided highway. Cars in front of me swerved and missed it. I thought I had done so also, pulling our '76 24' Argosy. Reaching home, I found I had lost both hubcaps on the curb side and have a nasty dent in rear of the wheel well. I need both hub caps, wheel well trim and some sheet metal damage repaired. Cement company is talking to me, but I am not sure how much the repair might cost or where to get the replacement Original Equipment Hub caps.

Any help or comments would be appreciated, especially about the hub caps and trim. Where I could find them or how much they cost.

The only wheel well trim I know of is availble from VIntage Trailer Supply here: J Moulding

What did your hub caps look like? There have been some vintage ones for sale on the forums in the classified section.

I will try and upload a picture of the wheel covers that I need to replace those taken by the concrete truck chute. The other picture is of the trailer wheel well. If you see them, I will have been successful. Does anyone know where I might best look for them?

Is it an optical illusion or are the axles bent? It looks like the front wheel is bent forward and the rear to the back. Another words the hubs do not appear to be parallel. Hope it's just the picture. Good luck Brian

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the observations. It is an optical illusion. I was fortunate that the cement mixer chute only caught the sidewall of my tire, not the full wheel or axle. I have carefully checked as a result of your comment, and found that what you see is an optical illusion.

I think the blame is the photographer, not the trailer. My dear old step-dad always said it is a poor workman that blames his tools. So, my bad as a photographer. Thanks for the concern of all.
