After buying, but not picking up, my first Airstream in Sept 2015, it was a 19, that was intended to just get me up off the ground and out of a tent, and not having to worry about setting up a tent in the rain or in the dark, etc. So I referred to it as "The Aluminum Tent." Of course, another followed a year later, and another a year and a half after that, for my third. But I think this one will stick. Hence, I just applied for the name badge today.

"The Aluminum Tent 3."

How's that for warm, rich and engaging name with an interesting background. LOL.

Our 2002 30’ Classic came with monkey themed upholstery. And, once our 4 kids (plus ourselves) go inside, it’s crazier & more fun than a barrel of monkeys. So she’s affectionately named, “The Monkey Barrel.”Click image for larger version

We named ours “Indecision” which is a reference to our Porch of Indecision which is a reference to a Jimmy Buffet song.

First post, first Airstream, (International Signature) staying in it tonight and have walk through tomorrow before on to the Jersey shore. Name is still up in the air but its being narrowed down. Thanks to everyone for all the education I've received reading this forum. You have no idea how much its helped. I'll circle back when the name gets riveted down. Thanks.

We lived in half a company house shared with another young family, the Truax's. All the houses and buildings have been removed since the mines closed.

We named ours Ailsa Craig - we are originally from the UK, my wife from Ayrshire Scotland, but now living 20 years + in the US, and the shape of the Airstream kind of reminded us of the beautiful Ailsa Craig island off the Ayrshire coast.

Hello everyone! While we wait for our new Airstream to be delivered, we’re contemplating names for her and officially registering it with Airstream. Does anyone know if duplicate names are allowed or does every registered name need to be unique? We’re thinking of “Charlotte” or “Pearl” since Angela and I met in Charlotte, NC at a Pearl Jam concert over 8 yrs ago. I can only assume that both Charlotte and Pearl already exist in the Airstream community. But we love both those names. Anyone know? Thanks for the help! -Jason
