please read back at the start of the the thread for the Saturday happenings. Also:
Remember to bring a gift to swap after Saturday dinner- if you would like to be involved.
Brunch and dinner are pot luck..bring something to share
Friday night meet and greet at the Pavillion starts around 7 or whenever you get there.
We leave after work so 7 is tight for us...
Questions??

Hi Dave,
Good to hear that you'll be there. I think you'll have a great time. Springstream and Falluminum are both fun events and the addition of Tin Can Tourists makes for even more fun!
Consider putting together a grab bag (gift bag) of your products for the gift swap. As ALANSD said, the Saturday evening gift swap is voluntary but I think it would be a neat way to promote your cool beverage holders.

Here is a link to photos of the Tin Can Tourists convention in Florida recently.
Amazing to see all the trailers, trucks and cars there...and the care with which they are presented also..

We are just a month out people...looking forward to a great weekend in a great spot. Late in April it should be awesome....

Hoping we still get to go. Transmission fell out of our tow vehicle the other day. It was husbands work truck and not sure if the owner is going to fix it. Our f150 won't pull the camper to the mountains.... keep your fingers crossed! !

depending which way you come, the mountains are not very high where we will be. There are a couple of hills but my Chevy Trailblazer 6 cylinder towed 4500lbs no problem. I traded it on an Ford Expedition 5.4 which has more room for us and stuff. Do you have a weight distribution hitch and bars? Makes a lot of difference.

I do have the weight distribution and sway bars. Even still... it struggles. We can't even get to carters lake without struggling. Down hill is a breeze... haha. The towing capacity for the truck is 8000 lbs. The trailer weighs 8000 pounds be fore I even START packing. Lol

5000 is probably correct for dry weight.

My 94 excella 31 foot has a dry weight of 7300lb. Yours must be a lot less than that.

no matter, whats important is having the right tow vehicle and set up right. If your truck is a V8 and has the weight dist set up it should be ok. But you are the best judge of that.
Hope it works out for you guys, I know you are hoping to make it..By the way my 81 Excella was 6000 lbs...it was heavier than the 78 Sovereign we had. But the 66 Overlander we have now is way lighter

I don't know why it's struggling if it only weighs 5k. The transmission starts getting hot and it acts up, mountains are a struggle and top speed is around 30 mph. It's rough....
