Itinerary: Friday; Meet and greet...come up to the pavillion after 6 or 7 and bring your drinking choice, maybe a game of choice or whatever. We will get to know the new folks and rekindle relationships with the past attendees. Campfire at dark at a site near the lake.
Saturday: Brunch is at 9:30 AM Bring a dish to share. We will have griddle for pancakes, you can bring anything you like..it all works out. If someone has a large coffee urn bring that and I will get a thing of coffee.
Tour of Homes...Leave your door open after 12:00 if you want to participate in folks seeing your camper. We will begin wandering from near the pavillion then you can go where you like. This should end by 3 ish so folks can relax, kayak, canoe, sleep,
whatever.
Pot luck dinner 5:30- 6 is set up and then serve. Bring a dish ....
After dinner, we will draw names of those who bring a gift to swap..Nothing too elaborate just something fun. Crafts, camping stuff, wines, you name it. Bring one you will get one back.
Music starts at 7 with the not a band band. Followed by Karaoke and dancing with John.
About 9 we head to campfires and smores time.

During dinner-- I expect to offer a 50-50 raffle, buy a ticket for a buck & get a chance to win half the pot. The remainder will pay for box(es) of goods to send to deployed soldiers.
Shannon has been doing this for 5 years now and the more we can send the better it is. These people really deserve it.

here are photos from Chewacla TCT Rally. Everyone wore a hawaiian shirt in honor and remembrance of the man who started this rally 4 years ago. We had a low country boil Bama style. And I played Jimmy Buffet tunes of course.

I can bring my Keurig if anyone wants to use it. I won't provide coffee (to expensive) but if you want to bring your own you can pop it in. (If anyone wants. If not it will stay in my trailer)

We have a mountain cabin in the general area. Lots of good day excursions around.

Helen would be a lot of fun. Old Bavarian style town with a lazy river through it. You can tube down it in summer time....

Brasstown Bald is nearby, Highest point in GA. Also you are right on the NC border and there are nice town to see within 25 to 50 miles. River parks also.

We have a reservation for site B-5, arriving Thursday. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and making new friends.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed on the karaoke stage again but I do have some new numbers that I've been practicing. I found a YouTube channel for karaoke and there are lots of good songs out there for sing-a-longs. Saw some great numbers for girl-groups and duets too! Check it out on YouTube:

The Appalachian trail starts nearby. Lots if biking and hiking.
