Spare Wheel for a 2002 Safari

I'm looking to purchase a wheel to mount a spare tire for my 2002 Safari. The specifications are as follows: 15x6, Lugs 6 on 5 1/2 Rated foe 2600lbs @ 75 psi.. Airstream wants $200 for the steel wheel alone being used on the OEM assembly. Any leads or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You might contact the Airstream service department. They just replaced all 4 aluminum wheels on my trailer due to corrosion. It was only a cosmetic problem, so if they still have them laying around they might sell them to you cheap.

Randy:

That sounds like the price for an aluminum wheel - not steel! I just bought a steel rim, to use as a spare, from Marty's USRV in Berkley, Ma. for my 2000 30' Excella. Their price for the rim was $49.02, plus shipping.

Thanks to Darrick Sweeden at Southwest Wheel in Dallas, TX for solving my spare wheel issue. The cost was $28. Received the wheel in three days from TX. Awesome service.
Late model Safari owners needing a spare wheel look no further than :

Part number #128698 wheel will meet all of the specifications needed for your Safari at a great price.
