Thank you for your quickly answer but I haven't the owner manual.
I have only for the hitch, not for the ball mount.
I'm looking for to contact husky service.

Gael: I don't have a Husky, but found this site and if you scan down you will see installation instructions, my bet is the various torques will be there. http://www.huskytow.com/ Good luck

Thank you very much, you help is important.
As the document, you show, the indication is : 260 lbs.ft (page 5)
Is relatively the same than 35 m.kg but Bob, where have you seen 200 lbs.ft ?
Thank you

The Curt install instructions. Curt uses 3/4" bolts for the hitch-to-shank connection. If your bolts are also 3/4" diameter I'd think the torque would be the same, but if you have the instructions for your hitch, and it says 260 ft. lbs., that is what I would use.

Tightening Torque of ball mount ?
I doubt the bolt is 3/4". It may take a 3/4" wrench or perhaps a 7/8" or maybe a 15/16" wrench. Which would be 1/2", 9/16" or 5/8" bolt size respectively.
You can look the torque specs up on the Internet. Just find the correct size and grade. There is nothing special about these bolts. From the photo it looks like they are grade 8.

The dirfference in torque may be due to different screw finishes.
The torque for Grade 5 plated 3/4"-10 cap screw is 200 ft-lb.
The torque for Grade 5 plain 3/4"-10 cap screw is 266 ft-lbs.

The bolts are 3/4", and require a 1 1/8" wrench and socket.

I stand corrected. You can still find the torque specs for the specific bolt you are using on the Internet.

I guess this shows my ignorance, but I've never heard of that concern before. I've got a. 19' Bambie. The TV is a Ford F-150.
How important is that torque?

In Tennessee it would be "pretty tight, but don't break it off".

I use this method: Use your biggest wrenches and tighten as much as you can with the strength you've got. Which will probably turn out to be somewhat less than what is called for in the specifications.

This is slightly off topic but still related.
I carry a 3/4" drive hitch ball socket and a 40" 3/4" breaker bar.
At any AS rally or such I've shared this combo with any one interested in checking the hitch ball nut that has been tightened by some oh yeah that's tight method. Lost count of the number of loose ones, found a couple that were tight and replaced 3 hitch balls that showed damaged threads or shanks from being loose and banging around. Latest ones this past weekend a loose one for a newbie including loose shank bolts and a lets throw that hitch ball away from a veteran tower.
The loosest one could be snugged with channel lock pliers by the owner before I came back with correct socket.

Did you tighten the ball? Torque is on the order of 400 foot pounds.
