Pro Pride on 27FB
Hi everyone. If anyone has installed a Pro Pride on their 27FB. do the 'Jacks' impose on access to the front storage compartment? Thanks in advance.

The answer to your question is yes. The jack towers do limit the opening of the front storage compartment door. But not enough to prevent the use of compartment.

Yes but still good for flat items like hoses, power cord, cables, tools, etc.

I was actually wondering the same thing. Does anyone with this setup have any pictures to show how far you can open your door/hatch? Thanks!

I can open my 27FB's front storage door completely with my Propride. I don’t have a picture with the door open, but here is a picture of my installed hitch. The Propride jack towers are very close to the propane cover and have made some scratches on it. But I prefer to have the storage compartment door open completely.

Ill see if I can find pics but I can open it fully on my 27FB. I actually put a chunk of pool noodle on the top of the battery box to prevent it from opening flat - I think because in one funky backing in configuration, the lid of the door caught the outer sleeve of the jack. I started the habit of using the pool noodle to prevent that - of course, I could just raise the WD jack if that happened again [emoji3]
Rube Goldberged it there!

Here's a picture. That is with "cheating" the towers a little forward as far as they can go.

Thank you all so much, I think this will be very helpful for anyone considering the Propride hitch in the future!

Propride 3P on 2019 27FBT
My 2019 FC 27FBT looks exactly like Turk123 picture - I think I need another 1/2"-1" to get the door to lay flat. And I too cheated everything as far forward as possible.
Does anyone have a close-up picture with door laying flat?
I have the original jacks. Does anyone have a picture 27FB door open with the new "v2 jacks"?

I can open my front compartment door completely with the V2 jacks. The V2 jacks are so much better for several reasons with one being able to open the door completely.

If you install the propane tank cover backwards, it gives you almost another inch of clearance and allows for a direct vertical pull on the spring bars, which is desirable, but not essential.

Full open with V2 jacks
... with 1/32nd of an inch to spare. The V1 jacks installation did not permit full opening. Since I moved batteries to the front compartment, full open is most welcome.
Note: have been monitoring closely to see if application of WD changes clearance and have not observed any change with the WD applied, door open, at rest. I am sure things are moving while underway but the front compartment door is closed then. Using 600# bars for minimal WD on the F250 diesel.

27FB with old style towers. Crowded everything forward. Final trick was grind an angle on the spacers to fit more forward into the V.
