GMC Electric

How do I connect the second battery to the system? 1996 5.7 K1500. In all that alternator trouble I was having when I picked up "The Bat CAve Express" it was disconnected. The shop checked things out when I got bakc and said all is well. Just noticed today it isn't even connected to the ground wire. Can I use an RV isolator or is one built into the controll unit?

Thanks.
