fun or useful remodel ideas/pictures for 1954 26'

Since I now like everyone else reading this think of my Airstream all the time, wishing I could spend more time useing it,I was wondering if people could share some pictures of there favorite parts of their Airstreams,tv's,led lights, stained glass, handy plumbing inside or out, lighted cabinates, wiring,???.

I am going to start wiring in the next month or so and I am trying to finalise plans.

This is the basic layout i'm looking at for our 26' cruiser.
Thanks for any ideas
Doug

I sure enjoy my new living room - recliners instead of the couch. My wife and I find it so much more like home.

Love the L-shaped living room, but the floorplan looks a little light on storage space. What's the plan to overcome that?

Perhaps these will help you visualize your floorplan. Flexsteel does make all sorts of modulars and custom size pieces in many styles, contours and fabrics for RVs. The 27' floorplan looks to me to be similar especially when the table is down and it is L-shaped seating, so at 26' I would think even allowing for a narrower body it would work very well. It also reminds me of the 34' model with the corner table with storage. I think on the recliners the seat lifts for storage, perhaps not, but it should. It seems like if you wanted the option of a corner end table you could contruct it to be freestanding and set atop your base cushions possibly weighting it with fabric and beanbag type bottom and also use on your queen bed as a bed table with some thought to adjustable height as well perhaps.
Dual-Arm Dual-Incliner

Is that a bathtub? Ohhh nice.

A love seat bed, a corner and the dual recliner would work and they have styles that are not overstuffed and leather.

Small RV love seats are usually narrow sofas. However, we also have a Magic-Bed as narrow as 47 that can be used as a love seat

That is some real nice furniture, the ideas are good,I was not sure about the weight of a recliner, the frame in my 54 is not to strong.

Moving the location of the fridge might be labor intensive

How about some deer antler scounces? Ralph Lauren did a series of designer vintage Airstreams for sale. This is the Adirondack Caravel.

Got twigs? Maybe some ideas here to get you brainstorming. There was a brand new Airstream done in western style highlighted in an older Airstream Life magazine. Perhaps someone will scan those pages and upload them.

Thanks Carol,
Pictures look great,I will have to see if I can find that copy of airstream life, that is what I am looking to have when finished.
A moble cabin that I can park by any lake or mountaintop.
Thanks Doug
