Hello! I finally was able to transport my newly acquired Airstream that was given to me by my grandfather. It has sat on a farm for 30+ years. Needless to say, it was a NEST for all sorts of critters! In pulling it out of the hole it was in (it sank in the ground over the years), part of the bottom shell pulled off (directly under the restroom area). What options does one have to replace the under side of the airstream. I'm sure I'll have to remove more of it as I gut it. I plan to strip it down to the shell in order to replace all the wiring/plumbing, etc.
And also, what technique is best to remove the rivets that hold the interior panels.
I am TOTALLY new to all of this. I've always dreamed of having an airstream and a rebuild project! This is my FIRST project ever, never thought I would ever have this
I've attached a couple of photos as well.

There are a slew of threads here detailing what you are embarking on. Just fire up the search feature and use terms like; "belly pan", floor replacement, full monty, etc.

Awesome air stream! I hope that you picked up the piece that fell off to later use for a template. That part of the belly pan needed to come off anyway so no worries! Take a lot of pictures for memory purposes and post some for us readers and enjoy the adventure!
