Hey All,
We've just begun our renovation on our second Airstream (1995 34' Excella 1000). I find that our main limiting factor in getting work done is the weather. It is frequently too hot, to cold, or too rainy to work on our trailer at our covered outdoor storage facility. We also don't have any access to power other than our generator. We live in a townhouse in downtown Atlanta, so building a snazzy rv garage/barn isn't an option for us. I've tried looking this up online, but I'm not even sure I'm using the right search terms. Does anyone know of any climate controlled rental space that allows renovation work to be done on site? I know this is asking for a lot, but I can almost always count on you "forum folks" for really creative solutions.

You might check and see if there are any shops in your are for rent, an enclosed rental space?

Hi -- did you ever find a place? I am looking for similar in Sandy Springs -- who prohibits RVs and motor homes!!!

No....sorry. We were never able to find anything that was climate controlled. We just make due with our portable "My Buddy" heater (it works off of 1 pound propane tanks). We're also installing Micro-air easy starts in the AC units, which will allow us to start and power the AC with our Honda generator.
