LED tvs can be stored and operated at sub zero temps. That's like the display panel in a lot of cars...

I've left my old LCD, pre-digital, in the AS for 2 winters, no problem
My neighbor has a 45" LCD mounted over the back door of his house, under an open air roof, been there for 2 winters now, it seems to be fine.

Not cold related. Mine are removed, along with anything else of value for theft reduction.
I put a little sign in the window, "all electronics and valuables removed for storage".

I also have a nest cam installed as well as a Nest provided notification sign in the window.
