You may have a bad switch. I just replaced the switch in our Jack
I called the manufacture and they sent me a new switch via US mail at no charge. I replaced the switch and it's back working again.

Have you checked the fuse to that circuit?

As above suggested, does it do anything? If it starts you might have bent it. Fuse is an inline, 3AMP, not an easy match. I carry two extras in my "fuse" kit I bought at an AS dealer.

How do you know it has power to it? Did you check with a test light or a meter?
Reason I ask is that I had a similar problem - in fact I have had the same thing on two trailers, so perhaps it is common.
My mac would not work and yet a meter or test light showed that it was getting voltage. I checked the switch and it seemed fine.
The problem tired out to be a bad ground on one trailer, and a corroded power feed connection (wire nut) on the other trailer.
In both cases, the bad connections were "good enough" to operate a test light or a meter, but could not pass enough current to allow the jack motor to function.
Maybe that could be a possibility in your case.
Good luck with it ....... Brian.

Call Barker Manuf and ask for customer service. Great service from them and as mentioned they will get you the parts quickly.

My jack uses an inline 30 amp slow blow fuse. Locally the only place I could find them was NAPA. When I had a problem with mine Barker sent me over night and free 3 fuses, 2 different switches and 3 little gears. Turned out that one of the contacts in the fuse holder had not been properly soldered. Easy fix once I found the problem.

Glad that you were able to correct your problem, that being said, may I interject another jack situation.
Having power to the jack and it will only go up or down. There are 2 micro switches under the access cover, in my case #V3-3001-D8, (15.1A 1/2 HP 125V 1/2A 124VDC). The switches are to limit the up and down movement of the jack. After having 1 switch failed I ordered 2 and now have a spare. Better safe then sorry.

Just had the replacement switch fail in my Barker jack. That's two switches in two years. Both times it was the raise function that failed. On the first failure Barker were excellent - they sent me spare switches in the mail free of charge. Will call them again now that I have used all of the spares.
Anyone else have problems with the switch failing?
