I'll say it again - I have said it in other posts and maybe here too: The leak may only manifest itself in the location you are looking at (i.e. fridge vent, window, etc) BUT in reality may be coming in somewhere else and running down the inside wall until it hits an obstruction then leaks out the inside of the trailer. In my case it was a dimpled rivet on the roof that acted like a funnel and water seeped around thr unsealed rivet into the inside then came out near the stove vent. I sealed that vent like you would not believe - still had the leak - I looked at the awning rail and AC - still had the leak - taped over each rivet and finally had no leak - I was tired and the process of elimination took 3 weeks. You have to let everything dry out in between to ensure you have the source.
Good luck - about drove me nuts..

You can guess what I did. It's raining again tonight, so we'll see if that was the prob. I called Bates about the unsightly stain left over and haven't heard back from them all day. Hope that is not a sign of their service, as the door is awfully 'hard' to close.

TNM,
If you don't get any satisfaction from the yokels at the Bates service dep't. , call Frank Bates DIRECTLY and complain. I had a totally botched PDI and delivery experience and a few other problems, and Mr. Bates did the right thing! He also demoted the 'tech' who worked on my trailer to a lot boy!!

I'm getting to the point of giving out a BIG bounty to whomever can find the leak in my trailer! I'm sick of caulking! I think I'm going to start by covering all the vents & air conditioner on the roof w/plastic & blue tape & go by process of elimination that way first (even though the a/c is new & all the vents have been recaulked in the last 9 months. BIG Bounty! BIG Bounty!

50 mph wind driven rain
You gonna get a leak or two but it should be the least of your worries. I think I'd just wipe it up.
But, if you have leaks from rain under say 22.3 mph. Start looking. Leaks can be mysterious. They can travel long distance. Gotta look for cracks and seal them even is you think "nah - can't be it".
Bam, If you were not warranted and paying what? $100/hr? that dude would find the leak in 4-5 hours for sure. Grrrrrrr

Flood in Texas
I have a classic 30' and during a rain storm while parked at the Pedernales State park my bathroom exhaust flooded. I mean there I was reading the newspaper and doing the #2 and my paper got soaked from the water running thur the exhaust fan. The flooded on or off. Anyone else had a flood like this?
