'75 Sovereign windows and awning

I just purchased (yesterday) my first Airstream. The first thing I want to tackle are some windows. In the front, the three long oval windows up top look bad. What I assume is some sort of reflective film is peeling and the windows look fogged up. Can this be repaired or am I looking at needing new windows. Secondly, the two side windows on the front. The large middle window is fine, but there is condensation inside the two windows on either side of the large one. Fix or replace? If these need to be replaced, any ideas of who and where? Last question-- the left awning arm is busted. Where can I find a replacement? Thanks for any help.

Well Sam you have a lot to wade thru. You are at probably the best place for that.
The oval-portholes above are called VistaView windows.
[BTW the lower ones beneath the operable windows are NOT called vista-views, they are just lower oval fixed windows]. There is alot (too much) of data here on the forums about them (Vista-views). And about the issue you are having with yours. Not a big deal. You are lucky to have a '75 for in '76 or '77 (cannot recalll exactly) the prob you are having with them became alot more difficult and nasty to remedy. You will see why as you research.

Side windows/sashes are available but call your banker. The small wing windows up front, call 2 bankers. So be sure to consider a rockguard to cover the front window trio. The best thing to do if yours are just cloudy and not broken is again to research here on the forums. I know this too has been greatly discussed.
Now if you do need a window/sash replacement , make yourself familliar with Inland Andy at Inland RV in Corona California. He as you will see as you navigate these forums is IMHO this joints MVP. In fact there is a thread to that effect.
Couple of more things:
Do not not not assume everything you read on these forums is gospelly correct.
Don't be shy about asking anything.
Oh and welcome.

BTW if you need an entry door skip the bankers and just call O'bama. It will take a supplemental.

*replacement windows come with the aluminum surround around the glass which is called a sash. The part that is made into the sidewalls is called a frame.

The windows can be repaired but it's a lot of work. There are some past threads on the subject if you can find them in a search.
