1973 Airstream 25' Trade Wind Land Yacht - Jalousie Windows Screen Fuzzy Fiber Pile Seal

On my newly acquired 1973 Airstream 25' Trade Wind Land Yacht I need to replace the Jalousie Windows Screen Fuzzy Fiber Pile Seal.
I contemplated replacing them with the following:
Inlands Part #: 34658 Screen Fuzzy Seal (40" per screen) shown here: http://www.inlandrv.com/catalog/images/34658-screenfuzzyseal.jpg
then I noticed that they had:
Part #: 34727 Screen Fuzzy Plate Seal for 1969 shown here: http://www.inlandrv.com/catalog/images/34727-scrfuzzyplate.jpg

Has anyone used the latter product on a later model than 1969?
Has anyone utilized another product with some modification such as door sweep such as shown here: http://www.homehardware.ca/Products/index/show/product/I2394411/name/doorswp_synthentic_3

Your Airstream does not have jalousy windows.

The plates are for the 69 and 79 models only, but I suppose they could be used on your trailer as well.

I have never tried to fit them on another year, but I will tomorrow.

You could use them on your 73, but just replacing the "fuzzy seal" is all that you need to do, although it will take more time.
