The gutter is called "drip cap" (page 261) and you can order lengths from 9" to 73 1/2" and the number is 1-800-876-2627.
As far as the window goes, you might give this guy a call and see if he has one that size, Desertsunmark@aol.com

Well guys, I spent about an hour looking through all of the window inventory at AZ RV Salvage today. They have a small house that's been converted to nothing but window storage. Saw a few vista view windows along with other rounded corner windows but nothing like what you're looking for. Really thought I might find something here. It's a dang shame.

No Bil, I didn't. I was looking for anything square corners Airstream related. No luck. Sorry Bill. BTW - why don't you just clean the green junk off it? Its not ruined.

No, that is a good one, as you may recall, the lower front one is missing and the one at the kitchen window is bent.

Not too sure what we are doing with the remainder of this one, but it has the windows you need. So, don't just focus on Airstream windows. Good luck.

Rob,

I am well aware that Shasta's have my window frames, I saw one a few months ago on a trailer under repair. I keep looking and one day they will show up. The Vintage Vacations Trailer Rally is coming up in May at Newport Dunes, we will be attending and I will be on the look out there.

thanks man! i really appreciate the effort. i think i may have to make the rear window permanently closed for now. i can always address it at a later date... (or with my NEXT reailer... get one with all the windows intact!)

ok, rather than start a new thread, i thought i'd revive this one. we just started on a 62 globe trotter and the window we cut down for our 18 footer fits the trotter better than the 18 footer, so i'm back to square 1! ha!

our '59 18 footer is still sans-rear window. what i had originally planned for it was take the early 60's window frame, cut it down, and mount it fixed (so, unfortunately it wouldn't open, but would look stock). well, after starting on the trotter, it seems it has the same size window, and the frame fits it... PLUS i can make it function, so it would be silly to mount it fixed in the 18 footer at this point. so... back to the search.

for a pic of what the original looked like, see the first post in this thread.

the window frame is an HEHR 18.5 X 39.5. anything tht size or larger would work great! ideally, i would like to find the thicker frame HEHR so i could make it work, but i've already come to terms with a static mounted window, and that would be fine for now. i could even swap out the whole window frame, if that option is available, as the 18 footer still doesn't have the rear skins in it... that point is rapidly approaching, though, hence the urgency!

any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks all!

I might have what you need. I have a couple frames that flyfshr and Tripp found for me. Unfortunately were not big enough for our coach (we need 21x42) but I think they are close to that size if not exactly that size. They need glass and a little work. Might need to find somebody with a TIG to do a little magic on them.

I have to run the burb to Costco in the morning to swap out the tires again! to try to get rid of an "on ice feel" the set on it has.

Let you know sometime tomorrow. Hopefully they will work.

I pulled 6 50s style windows from a 50s Continental. These are the round cornered aluminum windows you see on the 50s Airstreams. I will measure tomorrow and let ya know! What is in the rear of your trailer? Bath?

We are also in need of a Hehr 19-30 Clear View street side window for our 1960 18' Traveler. We do have the upper hinge part of the frame but not the sides and bottom portion. We spent over an hour at Walt's RV in Fontana, Ca today looking for a same or larger size window that we could cut down and any other peices that we can use to reconstruct our Traveler (it was gutted by a previous owner). Walt's has a huge amount of parts and one can certainly get generic RV parts, some of which are used in Airstreams, but you have to be able to pick out what will work.

We are still looking!

it's going to have a bed on one side, and the toilet on the other... no shower in this one. we thought about the wet bath, then thought, with 2 dogs and a baby, we won't be spending more than a long weekend in it... and most of the places we stay have decent showers... except that one in tennessee with the bandaid stuck to the wall... ha!

yours has the same window frames mine has, i bet. are they about an inch thick? i think they changed em in 60-61 to a thinner version, that has the window operator inside the frame, rather than atached to the side.

if i can't find a suitable replacement that will work, i may just mount the window closed, or replace the entire thing, outter frame and all. then you know it will work.

I'm also short a window, although some think I'm a few bricks short of a load for my thinking I could even find a replacement.

But I'm going to keep trying. I need the front frame of my front window in the 1960 TW. The back frame is stamped "HEHR 1008 21 42". Eons ago someone removed the front to install a window A/C. I found the operators and hardware in a drawer, but I'm missing the front frame. 59Toaster or A-Merry-Can, this place on Canton Hwy, is it worth checking? Chattanooga to Atlanta isn't very far to travel for a replacement.

there's that 1960 trade wind i know of for sale in knoxville, if you a parts trailer? it's got all the windows (with OPERATORS!), and a dent-free skin... with a shot belly and rusted frame. i thought briefly about buying it just for the windows and selling the rest on eBay. the guy wanted $1K for it. it's got exactly the windows you and 59toaster need, though. if i got it, i'd have to cut the front window frame down a bit to use on mine.

it's hard to think of an airstream as a donor, but when i looked at buying it to restore, i was scared away by the frame issues.

this is a side wiew of my window frames. i believe this is the same depth that sugarfoot and 59toaster need, if you're going to keep your original exterior frame. they're about twice the depth of the early 60's HEHRs.

So jp, tell me about this '60 TradeWind in Knoxville. Is there much of an interior? Got pictures and/or a serial number? What plant is it from? I know, I ask lots of questions but I may be interested in some of the parts which would help cover the cost of purchasing it. Just thinking out loud.

So these aren't the same style windows as your or just the wrong size?

Selling both the Trade Winds... the 60 (that you helped me find) for $500 less that I got her for ($3000) and polished as it still needs some work, and the other 60 with bunks for $1000 - what I have in her. Both are California models.

Here are some photos of some windows I pulled on Friday - I celebrated Veteran's Day with a Sawz-all! The are all 18" x 31" except the bathroom (frosted glass one) is 18" x 19".
