2015 FC25RB 2 sets of battery wires?!

So I just looked at the manual that came with my 2015 FC25RB and it makes no sense to what I see on my trailer. Turns out the manual is a 2014 manual and I cannot find a 2015 manual..

The exact problem is:

From the 2 group 24 batteries there are 2 negative wires pulled into the trailer and 2 positive!

One set go to the main distribution panel (on the driver/curb) and the other set.. well they go to the other side of the trailer (passenger/door side) and I have no idea where they go!

I will add a pic later...

Any suggestions before I start pulling stuff apart and make my wife mad?

Do you have an inverter in your trailer? My '17 has 2 sets of leads into the trailer, one pair feeds the inverter directly and the other feeds the rest of the trailer loads through the store/use switch. Which means a) you can turn on the inverter when the batteries are supposed to be disconnected, and b) you can leave the inverter on to drain the batteries when the batteries are supposed to be disconnected. Not a perfect system, clearly.

AH-HA!

Yes, I do have the factory 1000W inverter, that would make sense! Thank you!

so now I can work out how to connect those sets of wires put the batteries inside the trailer and all that good stuff...

I didn't see the photo earlier, I guess it hadn't yet gotten cached at the server.

That looks roughly like my setup... on mine, the automotive-style battery terminals (clamps on posts) are for the inverter, the threaded terminals connect to the store/use switch. I traced them down using a Hall-effect clamp ammeter and turning the systems on and off.

hmmm.. at first look, the automotive go to the bus bar and the threaded ones go towards the disconnect switch!

What a mess. I have to start pulling stuff apart ... grrrrr...
