2 Honda 2000 for original Armstrong Air

I have a 1972 27' international with original Armstrong Air Conditioner.

Not sure how much it draws, but I know it is a lot.

Anyone using two Honda's or Yamaha's to run a vintage Armstrong Airconditioner?

Loechi,
We run our 1976 27' Overlander with the original Armstrong with no problems.
I leave the pair in eco mode and when the compressor calls for more power they ramp up to speed in an instant. Have run the a/c for 6-7 hrs at a time. Have not run out of gas yes, so I am not sure of total run time with the a/c.

US Carb sent excellent instructions on how to service and get started. They are very clear. The generator started on the first pull (gasoline) and I have run it for about two hours so far - under partial load and under no load. Today, I hooked it up to propane, and it worked like a charm.

I can't say I'm happy with their communication process, but the generator and carb mod seems to be perfect. I trust my earlier worries will fade away like they always do.

Wondering if you are still happy with it, and do you have any additional thoughts?

Dunno about Abe, but I love my propane Yamaha 1000!
