shower drains slowly, Remove pop up drain?

traveling with my 95 34' classic. the shower drains very slowly. would like to remove pop up drain to clean out. can't seem to unscrew it by hand pressure. does anyone know if it unscrews? hate to take tools to something I could break.

Ours threads off by hand. I know it is a newer trailer ('05) than yours, but I would guess this would not change much. Maybe you can try a small strap wrench. Someone with your vintage of trailer might chime in.

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Yes it can be changed with Cpvcbut allot of folks went the route of pecks plumbing. If you live in a are where it freezes, pecks is the best option. It will expand and contract a bit. I went with cpvc since I live in Fl and feel comfortable using PVC.
