We have a member of the Kentucky Airstream whose trailer only had only 1 dump valve. Upon further investigation, it seems that there were some units that were equipped from the factory with a single 70 gal. holding tank for both gray and black water. I would hate to be taking a shower when that tank backed up.

It matters what side the sink is on...
We found the hard way that the side of the trailer that the toilet is on, the sink on that side drains to the black tank. On our 28' Serinity International, all of the drains on the curb side (Port) (lavatory sink and toilet) go to the black tank and all of drains on the street side (Starboard) (kitchen and shower) go to the grey tank.

Interestingly, on my 2018 FC 25 FBT, I ran the bath sink for 10mins and raised the Grey tank 5% and the black tank was unchanged. Repeating same action two more times and the results are the same.
This leads me to conclude the bath sinks on some Airstream models do drain into Grey tank.
Also confirmed that shower and galley sink drain into Grey tank.

If you look at the link I posted to the 1969 trailers in my prior post, those only have one tank. The even show how to dig a hole to dispose of sewerage. Times have changed!
I think 1972 or 1973 were the first years trailers had two tanks.

I purposly fill and drain both tanks together. It can be done with a twist on Valterra bayonet aux. valve. That will give you a lot of extra grey water room. Just watch the toilet for final usable capacity.

You have your port and starboard mixed up. The curbside is the starboard side. Assume you are sitting in the tow vehicle where you drive on the right side of the road like the US. The side on your right is the starboard and also the curbside.

One thing I do know, Airstream manuals are poorly written and often contain inaccurate information on my FC 25FB trailer. My electrical diagram is from 2007 despite many obvious changes, and my plumbing schematic from 2001 are both wrong for my specific model.
Thank God this Airstream Forums exist, or I would be lost making repairs and improvements to my AS.

After reading this and many other (some lengthy) postings here on the forum I have learned a lot about many different Airstreams and, yes, even a little about my own. But one thing I have confirmed that relates to all of them.
We now know just where ASSUME ing anything will get us, eventually.

I put a deposit on a 2018 27FB and it appears the bathroom sink drains into the black tank on that model (my 2007 Safari 27FB bathroom sink drains into the gray water tank). I was considering a 30 but after watching the Wandering Wagner's and their comment about their bathroom sink draining into the black water tank, I nixed that idea. It's absurd to me that they would drain the bathroom sink into the black water tank and not the gray water tank.
Draining the bathroom sink into the black tank is a major issue for me as, for example I'm at an RV park that doesn't have a sewer hookup at my site. The owner hauls a tote over here to empty my black tank, which lasts me almost a month. This setup with the bathroom sink emptying into the black tank would really put the kibosh on any long-term boondocking. I plan to move to property that doesn't have any sewer/septic for a few months and was going to purchase a tote so I could haul the contents to the sewer dump.
Emptying the bathroom sink into the black water tank is going to dramatically cut back on how long I can go without having to dump my tank, which causes me to reconsider going through with the purchase of the new trailer.

If I am reading this diagram accurately the ‘18 Classic drains the lavatory into the
grey tank.

If the galley and shower are on the same side the bathroom sink flows into the black tank. That is the way it is on my 2018 25RB FC.

Instead of flipping through my manual for a vague answer, I just took 5 min. to go out and test it for myself.
Opened up the valves on my empty gray water tank, turned on the water pump and bathroom sink, and voila...out came the water.
On my 31' 1976 Sovereign International with a rear bathroom, the sink drains to the gray tank.

I have a 2018 Int. RB and the bathroom sink drains into the black tank. We are currently are using a composting toilet so its not an issue.

I routinely dump my dish water tub down the toilet because as a single I don't fill the BW Tank as fast as the Grey. So for me, the bathroom sink into black water makes a lot of sense.

On my 2018 25FB FC, the bathroom sink definitely goes to grey tank. Confirmed.
