Barnetts is huge, and they sell a whole bunch of products that don't work that are pumped by all HD dealers because they get a floorplan program. A lot sell the products called Clean Cycle- their Metal Polish is good, but just because they sell it, doesn't make it as good as SS or White Diamond.
I keep saying- wait and see what Steve Hintgen says- maybe I'm the only one who likes it, and it does great with what I've used it on, so I'll continue.
I can say that I bought a trailer from someone in the "business" and when I did my SS trick, their mouths dropped.
Wait and see what Steve says...

I'm on the road right now and some of my stuff is on ships heading over to Europe, but if nothing else, as soon as I can I'll take a buffer and hit it for 2-3 minutes on a totally dull trailer, and send you the photos. Steve should be proof...
I usually bring my buffer on the road with me, unfortunately, this trip it stayed at home...

Has anyone heard anymore about the Southern Shine? My 72 could use a good shine on it.

TrailerTrash update us please... Or anybody else for that matter...

Damn!

I just got my order in- and haven't had any time to get any off- I have some one who'll send it out- but was hoping Steve from A/S Dreams would concur my ecstatic view of this great product. I was using it the other day on a trailer that was pretty bad- had to wet sand the whole body- and a neighbor came over with some 3M super duty compound- which is good stuff, especially on fiberglass, but it didn't come close to the SS.
The other nice thing about it was that the SS didn't load up in my pad- the 3M was very wet and made it like a gooey mop full of tar. The SS just gets hit with a screwdriver at high speed and it sheds all the excess as dust.
I'm on a small trip right now, but will send out a couple for trial as soon as I get back.
Is your 72 clearcoated? It was as new- but maybe you've stripped it- let me know. Thanks!

By the way...

I just called Steve and he hasn't tried it. I'll send out 2 bottles to people who will try them immediately... No charge.

Strip it!

First! and I like to use that orange stuff from homo depot- put it on with a roller, and spray it off an hour later with a pressure washer- its fast and easy.

I will try it as soon as I get it I will try it on a sheet that is not on my trailer first. I do have metal that will polish up from the job I did to the rear end seperation. I do not need two full bottles.

Southern Shine??

Gimme a break! Sounds like something my Granny would have used to polish her tea set.

Nuvite Rules!!

Lets clarify...

I'm gonna send out 2 bottles total- free, not 2 bottles to everyone who asks for it- sorry! i ain't rich!

So far Swabbie has the best candidate a 62 OL that is coat-free.

I earler posted that it was $2 a bottle- I got the bill and checked- its $3.50, plus shipping- still damn cheap.

I get Nuvite wholesale as well- but its still more expensive and I like this stuff better, so I'll leave the Nuvite for Chas- wouldn't want to affect his supply!

I would not feel comftable doing this on my trailer with out testing it on a piece of metal that it cannot harm... I guess I will have to wait to hear how it does. I figure nobody tried this at the rally?

Steve from A/S Dreams got it after his polishing demo- how I don't know, because I sent it 5 days in advance, but you know UPS. He hasn't tried it yet- and I don't want anyone to believe only me- so I'll get it out- and I'd prefer sending it to someone with a heavily oxidized older trailer- free of clear coat.
Keep in mind- I'm not trying to make any money from this- just passing along a good thing.
