Interior window frame polishing

Hello everyone,

I have found some answers but non of them were enough to solve my issue.
Currently disambled all window parts (chrome handles etc) and trying to clean and polish the interior frames and these small parts such handles, screws(that inside the frame) window locks etc.
I am using steel wool grade 0 and 000, scrubbing by hand and then use Mothers polisher with my wool polisher heads. However it takes so much time and can not even remove some of the dark dots on aluminum.

1- What do you suggest to make them look nice and clean?
2- How can I polish that little parts?

Thank you
A.K.

The dark dots are most likely pitting and need light sanding to take them out. I'd try sanding with 1000 grit and work up to 2000 from there. As far as the small parts go the easiest thing is a small vibratory tumbler or hand polishing. Chrome cannot be tumbled without risk of damage however as it is a coating.
