Door and window gaskets

Hello everyone, I read on AirForums that it is better to use the D-shaped gaskets instead of old U shape gaskets. I am looking for gasket with tape aystem on it. Do you have any recommendation where should I look? I know the width is 0.375" but not sure about the height. Usually they sell 0.437".
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Aras

They suggest the old U shaped gaskets but I want to upgrade.

I would not rely on the tape to hold the gasket on there for long.

We glued ours in place. Tape doesn't hold for long. A least 6 years with no problems. We also wipe them down with silicone every spring to keep them from sticking when we try to open the window.

Side wrap around window dream not closing.

Hi. I have a 2017 23D serenity. After opening one of the side screan protector s to clean the inside, I found the top screw won't re engage. It seams the screw isn't big enough to hold the weight of the screan protector. Anyone have this issue?

Hello Minno, do you know the exact or approx height of the gasket? Currently I am doing my research to order. Thank you!

Part #45370 from Inland RV. No size listed, just D gasket. Didn't know there were different sizes for windows, and Inland doesn't list them. There are different gaskets for doors and screen doors. I see Vintage RV has different sizes listed.
Chris is measuring our extra: It's 1/2 inch wide across the straight part of the D and 7/16 in. tall. We used black 3M gasket adhesive to hold it in place. Let the adhesive get tacky before putting the gasket on it.
