70's Emblem Opinion

Started the emblems this weekend - this was the easiest of the bunch. If you've done yours, or seen others, is there any painting on the middle section? If so, what. (yes the red isn't vintage but thought I'd mix it up a little). thanks....

On my '72 Tradewind, the middle medallion is all Airstream blue (just like the Airstream script to the left in your picture), except for the lettering. The lettering is plain aluminum.

It may not be original, but I like the red lettering.

Thanks Fyrzowt. Cameron - the entire center emblem or just the middle section around the lettering? Thanks...

Hi Gary, I ran out and took a few photos. I figured pictures are much better at explaining things than I am!

Thanks for the assist on what the emblem by the door should look like. It looks better that way. Here's a few of the others also.

Has anyone figured out a way to paint the edges of the International wording on the rear?
