Tree Fell on our '64 Safari

Well my brother bought it that way, and I have been looking to restore an airstream to live in. Last night he offered it to me to restore, yet the roof section is caved in because a tree fell on it a while back. He bought it for parts, but the body otherwise is very solid.

What would be my options with this? What models and years should I look for to get a front end from? The main thing I understand I need is the ribs. I thought I would have wanted something a little longer but hey this is already sitting in his backyard!

Anyone have a 64 Safari mostly trashed laying around?

I'd look for another complete trailer with nice skin in the area where your's is damaged. End caps are all the same regardless of trailer length, but you need to get familiar with what year panels will fit a 1964. I'd guess 62 to 67, but I could be wrong. I know 68 and newer are wider and panels won't interchange. There's a bunch of good data online detailing panel replacement.

Do not consider anything before 64. 64 was the first year with two less segments in the end caps.

Great

Thanks for the info, that helps. I will try and get photos as soon as I can, holidays and rain have kept me down. The more i look at the inside the more I think I want a 26ft. + trailer if I will consider full-timing in it.
