I have found a way to replace the latch for the bathroom mirror. the part is from Vintage trailer Supply part # VTS 557,OverHead cabinet latch 1965-1970. It is made out of hard plastic I will try to explain how to modify it. The piece has an "L" shape piece and two holes. If you still have the metal piece on the mirror heres what to do. very carefully cut the upper "L" shape piece off, now you have a flat piece with two holes. These hole line up with the holes on the metal piece on the mirror back attach the plastic piece to the metal piece with two small bolts and small nuts. You will have to bend the catch on the cabinet out a little the new piece will latch on and give you a secure close. I hope this is pretty clear if not contact me at
