Any recommendation on full restoration services in South USA?

Title pretty much says it all. I am looking to have my 1966 Caravel restored completely and have been trying to find a shop to do it. Unfortunately, everyone I call seems too daunted by the task or wants to only work on modern trailers. I don't mind driving several hours if there is someone proven to do good work in the community. Just finding them seems to be the hard part .

I drive past this shop daily and they service airstreams and SOB’s and have a collection of Spartans as project trailers. Former dealer but now independent.

Call A&P Trailer Works in Paradise, TX. Restoring Airstreams is what they do. They’re an advertiser here as well. I’m picking mine up tomorrow after a bedroom conversion.

I second the recommendation of A&P in Paradise, TX! There is also one located in Gatesville, TX. I think the name is American Vintage Trailers.

Used A&P Vintage Trailer Works to extensively modify both our 2014 31’Classic and our 2015 23D International Serenity. Have seen complete shell off restorations there in process where the shell is all that was re-used - new frame, axles, tanks, appliances and complete custom interior.

They are located about 25 miles Northwest of DFW airport in Dallas, TX.

Another option is Hoss Cameron's shop in Rogers, Arkansas. His specialty is Airstreams of any vintage. For us he added an awning but we liked over his other projects and they were first class. Check out nwaairstream.com or call 479-644-8167.
