I am looking at an 2014 Bambi Sport 16' that is currently housed in a consignment (rental) lot close by to me. The seller is military and not local and I feel like the consignment shop has possibly taken advantage of this person.
The consignment shop owner stated that when moving, the AS was dented with a forklift and that he would be replacing the front fender. Please see the video here to see damage:

(Sorry, poor quality video)
The seller wants out and is giving a good price. I am asking the consignment owner to put in writing that he will replace the fender at his own expense, and if I get that in writing, is that sufficient to move forward with the sale?
I don't know about body damage on an Airstream. Could this damage be affecting frame/floor/subfloor? Is replacing a fender a total disassembly job? The consignment shop owner manages about a hundred RVs, but this is his only Airstream. The price is good, but you know what they say about a good deal... Or, is this totally repairable and worth pursuing?
