Who uses tandem wheel chocks?

If you read through the instructions BAL provides for using their products, you'll see that placing the X-Chocks is #5 on the list, near the end of the process and long after wheel chocks are in place and the trailer is unhooked from the tow vehicle.

Hello everyone. I’m waiting on my casting parts for the wheel locks. Have been. Waiting on call back to see when they will be available for pickup. Soon as I can I will have them available again. Why I’m on the forum. Can anyone with a newer Airstream with the original tires give me the smallest measurement between the tires. The reason I’m asking is to see if I might have to have another size besides the three that we have always made. Hope this helps everyone. Will get back with you hopefully soon. I don't know about you, but my safety chains would not have helped...they are too short to have kept on the 8" wood block; perhaps if I had set it up lengthwise it may have stayed on, assuming it was at the front of the block? Live and learn.

When I am on a slope I titen my chocks tight. They indent the tires. It never rolls away.

Never say "never"! Mine were tight also...as was posted earlier, X-chocks tell you they are meant for keeping your TT from rocking when parked; not meant as "chocks" to prevent rolling. When tires are "wet" like mine were, the weight of the AS overpowered the friction hold of the "smooth surface" on the X-chock against the slick rubber tire; I don't care how "tight" you think you have it cranked...the air in the tire can still be overcome with the right amount of force from the AS in certain conditions...fact.
