Brake dragging

After being on the road for an hour, the passenger side rear wheel started to smoke. Not being able to find anyone willing to look at the issue I crawled home. A dash light stayed on, and according to manual is either a sensor sticking or PSI being below 450. Removed rear wheels and found no leaks or apparent wear. 1999 airstream cutter. Engine on, placed in drive the passenger appeared to not rotate freely as the driver side did. Reeving up engine showed good turn, when releasing peddle the passenger side seem to still drag a bit. No apparent warping on rotor. pads look new. plan to remove rotors and have turned. take vehicle in and have system checked for low pressure and switch check.please send recommendationsthank you

What was smoking, the tire or the brakes?

As for your test with the truck jacked up. It is common for one wheel to spin more freely than the other while both wheel are of the ground and the engine running. Just a function of the differential. With the trans in neutral could you turn the passenger side wheel by hand? That would require some effort but you it should turn as apposed to a mechanical drag.

Did you check the tire pressure with a tire gauge? Especially the inside tire.

Is there a problem with the calipers? Are the pads more worn on the side where the problem occurred?

It could be something got stuck in between things and caused the problem and has by now fallen out—that may be your best hope. I would think something caught there would cause a score mark on one side of the rotor.

If you don't have the brakes chattering when you are stopping, the rotors may be fine—check them for flatness before you get them turned.
