In short, yes. Some do, some don't. We like knowing what's happening to our TT tires in real time as we roll on down the highway, when we can't see them back there. So, we use a TPMS from TST, and thus far we've been happy with it.
We needed the repeater to get a consistently strong signal in the cab.
TST 507 Flow Thru - we added metal valve stems.
TST 507 Repeater - we mounted this up front, between the LP tanks, and included a switch so we can turn it off when parked.
