New? Goodyear Marathons

Today, picked up and had mounted my Goodyear marathons from Walmart - Site to store shipping. The tires came from Goodyear near Dallas. Yes, Made in China on the 24th week of 2010. So, my new tires are already a year old and were made in China. I ask, What else can we do?

In my current trailer (which I getting rid of), I've put well over 7500 miles on Marathons, with nary a problem.

I've heard of others with Kuhmo's that are nothing but problems.

Bottom line, I think most tires are manufactured to good specs, but QC often takes a break during the process.

David', there are numerous tire threads and a new poll. I think you are asking about what to do about year old tires—call Walmart and tell them you don't want them, but do you have your original tires; if they have them, they might already be gone. See what they can do about another brand or bigger wheels.

If you want to go to 16", you need new wheels and they probably have to be 0˚ offset.

Check out some threads (there's a lot to read and much controversy).

And the granddaddy of them all dating back to 2006 and still quite alive:
