new axles for Sovereign 29'

helloo everybody,
i'm trying to understand the max load per axle i should consider to change axles on my 29 sovereign.
The empty weight is 6000 lbs and full is 6800.
I found (i'm in Italy) a tandem axle with a max load of 7700 lbs. is this enough strong?
Please help me!!!!
Ciao

My guess it that you will have 3200 lb axles. Each axle will be rated at 3200 lbs. Which is what I have on my 29' Excella (1989). It has the same 6800 GVW. You may want to contact Inland RV and they can give you a confirmation.

Why do you think you need new axles?

Those axles are the originals.

To check them out, you can read the axle article that's in the Airstream Central section of this Forums.
