The Caravanner never had a tub in the 50's and 60's. It was always a wet bath shower.

The Caravanner, Flying Cloud, Safari, Falcon and Custom 22 all shared the same platform. The only difference is where the windows and access doors were installed. The Caravanner was not as common as the Safari and FC.

I think your asking about the Fiberglass corner tub , vanity and they toliet mounted in the rear.

I would concentrate on roughtly 60-63 In 64 they started changing the shape a little and you might run into fitment problems. Much before 60 and the 22ft's didn't have a full width rear bathrooms in the 22ft coaches. Some of the larger coaches it did but the were a little larger then those used in the 22's and it's going to cause you issues with fitting in other interior cabinetry.

Be careful of the weight you add. You may need to also salvage a Hatch and install it into your coach to have access to some of the plumbing. Most rear baths had a rear hatch.

Good resource for you to see what things looked like in different years.

Hi Reality1!

I have a fiberglass rear corner shower stall/tub from a '63 Flying Cloud that is in near perfect condition you may be interested in. I can provide photos if you'd like.

Good morning!

Yes we are interested! If you could forward pictures that would be great! Where are you located? We are in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

How much are you asking for it?

Thanks!

And a good morning to you! If you enable your Personal Messaging, I'll zip you off a note. I'll try to get photos today and post them to this thread. We're in eastern Iowa, near Iowa City.

Thank you for the information toaster. That is what we meant when we said 'tub'. There is not a whole lot of room for showering in there! But it's mainly for when we retire and the kids are off on their own!

Thanks again!

That tub arangement would work good in a Caravanner if you don't mind loosing the rear bed and just having the Goucho. It would be perfect for a couple and add a lot of potential storage space and still keep the big gally that is so nice in the Caravanner. Heck you could extend the counter a little even once the bed is out.

You could easily keep the caravanner sink and redo tha cabinet to mount it center. The Black water tank would relocate to the oposite corner easily as well.

I may have to keep an eye out for that style tub my self in a few years when we get both our rug rats out. That will be a while though.

Forgot the picture. Thats a 63.
