Trip Report -Ave of the Giants
Today we continued my retirement celebration journey by driving from northern CA towards Yosemite.
Always whilst working I viewed driving as a means to "getting there." Miles were an obstacle to be conquered on the way to a vacation.
Having retired my Airstream taught me once again what I knew as a youngster - getting there is half the fun (except for he stretch of traffic within 30 miles of Napa)! On the way down the 101 we took the slow route through the Avenue of the Giants and were very much amazed!
So enjoy the journey all and be SAFE!
