Hey folks,
We are vendors at the Festival of the Little Hills this weekend in Downtown St. Charles Missouri. We are looking for a safe place to hook-up for a couple of nights. We needs water/electric for sure. Sewer would ne nice, but not necessary.
Thanks so much!

Babler State Park
Heather,
We spent several days last summer at Edmund Babler State Park in Chesterfield, Mo which I believe is fairly close to St. Charles, 20 miles. This was a wonderful campground with very friendly campground hosts. They have water and good electric at all sites but you must use the dump station for sewer. Be sure you get good directions it can be a little difficult to find. While the campground is fairly secluded and peaceful you are only minutes from the interstate and a massive new shopping complex where you can find way more than anyone would need. We used this as a base camp for trips into St. Louis and there was a lot of construction on the interstate last summer so you may want to check that also. But I highly recommend this campground it.

For a couple of nights you have Pinewoods Park which is Wentzville Mo. just west of St. Charles. There is also a commercial park in St. Charles also. The local Airstream Dealer is in Wentzville. He has some full hookup sites and just may be willing to let you stay for a couple of nights. Bill Thomas Camper Sales. Give them a call, if anything they can recommend so alternate locales.

There is a park very close to Festival of the little hills (I was at the site twice tonight), but this is a very dumpy place, and would not recommend you staying there. The park in Wentzville will work, but staying at Bill Thomas is likely your best bet. It is going to be a bit of a drive, but it is what it is.
I would offer my drive to you for courtesy parking in O'fallon, MO, but don't have anything other than water to offer for hookups.
