Hi Michelle, we have really enjoyed tracking your adventure. Sounds like a long hard trip. Hope you can relax after your arrival.
Are you a firefighter? If so we here in Sun Valley really owe y'all a debt of
gratitude from our Aug. fire. Happy trails and stay safe, Warm Regards,
John & Betty

Michelle hasn't logged in since early Wed AM at my house. I have a message on my phone from the last hour -- they "made it to the factory last night after 14 hours on the road. Not doing that again." With a cheery tone she declared they're back on schedule. Congrats! Now it's time to relax and take some baby steps the rest of your way south.

Michelle, have fun on your travels down south. Here in Chatt Town, it is a balmy (or rather cloudy) 60 degrees. Let me know if you come through Chattanooga. I don't have room in my driveway but will be glad to show you some good places to layover. Happy trails!

Bob,
Thank you very much for the hospitality.
We did make it to JC yesterday. 14 hours and 866 miles in one day. We pulled in a little after 2300 and were up this morning around 0730.
They finsihed almost eveything today. Tomorrow new tires and clean up on my new stove!
Today we made it to the wright borthers and Neil Armstroung museums as well a factory tour.
Tomorrow The Air Force Musem at Wrigth Patterson AFB.

Looks like we may be leaving tomorrow to keep ahead of the weather.

Drive safe, Michelle. We are all watching the weather and looking at your travels.

I am a firefighting pilot. I was not involved with the Sun Valley area fires. When it all started I was flying a fire at Creaters of the Moon. They were stealing our resources. We could nto get a tanker to save our lives.

Glad to hear you arrive JC safely and enjoy your visit to the museums.
John's parent met at Wright Patterson after WWII, his father was a pilot too. We visited Air Force Museum last year and it was the most amazing experience we both had. Don't forget to take the tour to the Air Force One exhibit.

Can't wait to hear all about your trip and see photos of your adventure in March!

Enjoy and be safe.

We arrive, we saw, we bolted! With the weather approaching We cut short the visit to WPAFB and headed back to JC. Picked up the trailer and Left town. We hit Columbus ruch hour. It was not too bad. Stopped for the evening in Morgantown, WV, Headed into Maryland this morning. I dropped off my passenger. Headed south and parked the trailer for a few days in Northern Virginia.
I will be leaving here on Wednesday? and headed indirectly for Florida.

Michael,
I saw a couple of pieces that were hung on the wall as you go in.
There were a couple more by the desk waiting to be hung.

Be safe and take care of Sarah. Vincent and Imma and Paden and I spent the night in the "new" Sovereign to get warm since we had no power for 4 days here in Oklahoma. I'll be thinking of you two in Florida, while it's snowing here. Did you see my picture of where you parked when you were here? Shocking

Yes ladies, keep those little kitties warm and safe. When we lost our power here in early November our Smoky Bear was the first to notice and the first to make sure he was firmly planted under the blankets on the bed . You'd think with all that fur they'd be fine but they just seem to crave heat. We also have natural gas fireplaces and as soon as I turned the one on in "his" living room he moved there and was firmly planted until the power came back on.

Juel, you guys sure have had some serious tree damage. You are right, the clean up is going to be a major added pain to all of this. Let's hope you don't lose them completely. We lost several very large and old trees out back in early November and it has really changed the look of our yard out back. It feels naked as these were big, leafy trees providing a lot of shade and quiet in the hot weather (I know, what's that).

Good luck with the weather. Thank heavens for the Airstreams when the going gets rough.

Barry
