Cape Cod

Has anyone been RVing on Cape Cod, and if so could you tell me a little about campgrounds and rv parking availability out there, particularly Provencetown?

do a search for Provincetown rally in the rally section. There is one there every year. I almost went a couple of years ago. They go to the same spot every year I checked it out and I recall it being nice.

We have stayed here before. About 35 minutes south of PT. Nice campground right on the bike path. 5 minutes to the Natl. Seashores Marconi Beach.

We have not been with an RV to Cape Cod (yet) but have traveled there several times and it is a beautiful, beautiful area, one of our favorite places in the world. Provincetown is quite cool, a rather artsy and end-of-the-world place and the Seashore is just out there in the middle of the ocean, it seems.

Allow enough time to explore Cape Cod thoroughly. The towns are all old fishing villages with quaint old homes, stores, etc. There is a handmade pottery-dishware place in Chatham that has lovely things you can buy by the piece or in sets, and if you can take a day to ferry to Nantucket that is also worth the trip. An overnight there would be best, but B&B's and hotels are rather pricey.

Have a good time, and be sure to eat some quahog chowder.

coastal Acres Campground

We attended the WBCCI Cape Cod unit rally last fall. Nice rustic campground minutes from PTown and National Seashore areas.

North Truro

We just went down the cape over mothers day and stayed at Adventure bound in North Truro. Sweet campground, nice people. Walk to the beach abotu 1/4 away.

It wasn't running, but they do have a shuttle from the campground to Ptown.

Will go back.

We are at adventure bound right now. Nice place. Beach is a mile away- drive or take a nice walk walk through the woods on a level, clear trail. Nickerson state park is more rustic and very nice, but further from p-town.
