We are hoping to stay several nights in/near Great Basin National Park, NV in the first part of August. Does anyone have experience with the campgrounds in the park? Are the roads decent? Sites decent and more or less level? Availability that time of the year (it appears reservations are nil). TIA
We did an early season trip there last year. We did a drive by on one of the campgrounds there and it seemed fine. I think the others were closed at the time.
We eneed up staying at the Sacramento Pass campground run by the BLM on hwy 50/6. It was very nice, and free. limited spaces Dry camping. About 15-20 mins from the park. There was even a small pond to fish and mtn bike trails.

We are planning a visit mid September. I have “driven” a couple of the campgrounds on google maps. They look nice, but depending on trailer length some loops could be a problem. I think a couple may work for our 28 footer.
