The third week in January is the selected time for our winter trip in the Tin Lizzy. We are planning to spend the week in Louisiana.

We left Golden, Colorado for Baltimore, Maryland on Oct 30th and had good weather on the entire trip. We have been here 10 days visiting our daughter and tomorrow will head slowly down the coast to Boca Raton, Florida to visit our son. We had warm to fair weather in Maryland and expect no problems heading south. After about a week there we will meander along the Gulf Coast to Texas and wait there into the weather is OK to travel home. Will probably winterize in Texas before taking the trailer up north to its storage lot in Denver.

Come on down, Carlita! There are plenty of Airstreamers around Central and Southern AZ in the winter ... hopping from campground to campground and hitting a few 4CU rallies here and there ... We always look forward to winter it's our HIGH season for more local camping ... we love it! The AZ State Park system and the Maricopa County Regional Park system (Phx is in Maricopa County) now take reservations, making it even easier to plan and enjoy. Hope to see you!

We did not get chance to meet however was just wondering if that was you and your wife in section c on the bayside this past weekend. My wife and I were in section A with the grandkids.

Will leave Richmond 23rd December and head down to Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire to spend Christmas with our daughter & family. On the 27th down to the south coast via London with Airstream in tow to catch the train under the English Channel and into Northern France.
We will then drive the 750 miles to the French Alps and camp @ Bourg St Maurice. 850 mtrs. And ski the season. Returning back to the U. K. end of April.

Let it snow. 🎿

Winter trip

We plan a 10-14 day trip from central Virginia to the panhandle, Destin/Fort Walton Beach, FL in mid to late February if we don't get some freak storm moving up the east coast. Use to camp there when we had our Avion. Lovely sugar sand beaches and clear blue/green water. Will get us out of the "cold" weather in Virginia. Hope to see some of you there or on the way down or back. Have a great winter.

Here We Are in Mesa, AZ...

Lovely, sunny Mesa. Temps in the high 70s.

Had a nice trip over from Albuquerque after freezing temps there last night.
