Don't know about the Airstream Park, but I saw a nice little Bambi getting onto N-bnd 169 from Minnetonka Blvd about 12:30 today. Was that you?

The sign on the office door says holiday hours are the same as Sundays (12 to 2). I can see some empty sites now but I don't know what might have been reserved.

I believe the office is staffed by volunteers and is frequently unoccupied. I'm sure that there is some place you can park (they have lots of rally parking area in addition to long term sites) and if you just show up I expect that someone will direct you to an available space and notify the office person on call so you can settle up the details at everyone's convenience.

That's what happened when we pulled in there a couple of years ago. They're friendly.

Ha ha now thats funny. Yes that was me! Dropping off Bambi and picking up my new International. Got back around 5. Anxious to try her out. I think we will just plan on heading up there. They do have the field for rallys so im sure they could squeeze us in if they were somehow full. Hey we must be neighbors Markdoane?

I was down to Becker today. It seemed half of the Twin Cities were outbound to Brainerd on Hwy 10. I came home on back roads. I guess there will be nobody at the Prairie Home 35th anniversary show in Avon tomorrow night if everybody is up by Bay Lake or Nisswa. 4000 by latest estimates -- all random seating in lawn chairs. Misery....

Randjg:

Send me a PM if you do not reach anyone at the Park this morning. The wife and I are headed up there this morning, and will be there before noon. I am positive they (we) can fit you in somewhere.
