6000 miles & only half way
Left our home above Sacramento Feb 7. Down CA coast, Southern AZ & NM, W Texas & Hill Country, Ozarks and into frigid Ill. We visited sites from Apache wars, pre-Columbian civ., and the Alamo. The great people at A/S in Jackson Center gave our Bambi a needed once over and we're now in SE Wisconsin. We've used back roads as much as we could. Stayed at Nat'l & St Parks, private campgrounds, and with friends & family. We've worn shorts and endured single digit blizzards. Our 2nd Grandchild arrived 3-4-08. She and mother are perfect. Will begin trip home in a week or two. Jury duty mid-May. Won't know route 'til we're on it, because plan seems to change change every day. Sorry we'll miss Casini.

Sounds like a great adventure. You're allowed to post pictures, you know. We all want to travel vicariously with you.

Sounds like a great adventure!
We do alot of long distance traveling with our 2002 Bambi 19', and couldn't be happier -- all the comforts of home in a small package!

SE Wisconsin? That's one of the snowiest places in the country this year. But cardinals have been singing outside our house for 6 weeks. Spring comes next week I hear. Safe travels! And thanks for the report from the road.

Hi C & K,
Congrats on the new grandchild!
It was great meeting both of you at Dead Horse! I didn't realize you were going on such an extended trip. Those 26-degree mornings in AZ were cold enough for me...but BLIZZARDS? Glad to hear your trailer enjoyed its visit to Jackson Center. Sorry we won't be seeing you at Casini Ranch....
Cheers

ooooooooooops! I guess I should have looked at the YEAR! They were in AZ with us at about the same time as they were there a year ago.
Thanks for the "nudge," Shari
