Please keep your eyes open for a Streamline or Silver Streak
The wife and I are digging out of all the wonderful snow we've been blessed with here in Michigan and are thinking about a nice vintage camper to use this Spring. We currently pull an Airstream 22FB and really like it but have been bitten by the vintage bug. I have been watching Craigslist in our area but if someone stumbles across a nice unit please let me know. I am retired military and do not mind a road trip for something worth buying.
Thanks, Tony

How about an Avion? There's a 1966, 19 footer on Craig's List, Little Rock, Arkansas, that looks interesting.

Thanks, Tony

SS weight
30' might be a bit long, but weight-wise these "oldies" can pleasantly surprise you.
I see the seller states around 6k# with a GVWR of 8k#. Hitch weight shown as 700#
My 1966 T27 Avion is right at 5k# ready to camp - full water and LP!
Good Luck!

1/2 ton Ram - is that a 2500? I pull a 31' with mine and have no problem - in fact I some times forget it's there, not really but it's more than enough.

This one DOES look like a goodie! Really nice skin & honey cabinets. The Cayo's who made it are in Watervliet, MI and can fix anything on it!

No it is a 1500. Your 2500 is a 3/4 ton.

My folks pulled their 28' with a car. Family of five. The GVWR is pretty much the same for those and longer units with max size about 32' for many years.
A few years back there were quite a few for sale. The market is far less, now.

There was a really nice Streamline in Seattle around $20k. I can find if you want.

Appears to be the same camper but maybe "before (when bought and nice) and "after" now?
These 2 are in the Dallas Craigslist:
Silver Streak Camper
and
1972 silver streak deluxe 214 607 8153 ft 28ft - ?
