Hi Jewelojalopy! I'm new to the forum but have checked out the forum before. I live at the north coast of Oregon and visit Portland all the time. I am considering buying an argosy that is the middle of Idaho. I've downloaded the inspection list and I think the seller is a legit and experienced gal. I am thinking I need more experienced eyes to finalize a sale - but I thought I'd ask first on the forum to see what is recommended. I've asked the seller for more pictures and key details I've learned from reading your site over the years. I come into Portland pretty often (possibly tomorrow) so I thought I'd reach out and see what you recommend to confirm this would be a good investment. My owner experience with a trailer before was with a 13ft Boler and I've hauled other trailers including my brothers newer trailer. I am looking for a rig that I could take on the road for a year or so - and I can give you the specs or whatever you need when w connect. Thank you. Shannon -Magicgirl

    Hi Jewelojalopy,

I am in the process of looking at a 2014 16 sport and found a used one in the Portland area. I am in the Seattle WA area, I couldn't just go and look. Would you be able to do an inspection for me. The sport is currently store at Luxury Vehicle Care, 3901 SE Naef Rd, Portland, OR 97267. Please let me know when will be a good time for you to do this and charge for this service.

    Thank you,

    Hi Jewelojalopy,

My wife and I are looking to purchase our first Airstream, and I found a used one in the Portland area. I'm currently working in Florida for the next couple of weeks, and I need someone to go inspect this Airstream within the next day or so, so I can purchase it with peace of mind. Are you available to do this, and what do you charge for this service?

    Thank you,
    Jeremy Johnson

Jewelojalopy: I'm new to the Airstream world and the Forums. I've found an AS trailer in the Eugene area (Junction City) that I'm interested in. I need to find a volunteer inspector. I wonder if you'd be interested in taking a look for me? It's about 1 3/4 hours from you. If you're interested, please let me know what costs I can reimburse.

I think you're also in the car inspection business. Is trailer inspection part of your business? If so, perhaps I should be inquiring about a more professional service. If so, let me know, please!

    Thanks, in advance,

    Brad Elbein
