| July 2009 Photo Contest
Hello everyone. As some of you know, and now the rest of you do, I work for the Navy (civilian oceanographer) and am on travel all the time, like right now I am in Copenhagen, DK and then at sea for a month. When you get a bunch of Americans together in a foreign land, we like to celebrate the holidays together like we did yesterday for the 4th of July pierside with a BBQ.
It is always good to come home, there is no place like the USA - and with that thought and in celebration of the month of our nations birth, I would like to propose that this months theme have a "red, white, and blue theme". A flag, land mark, distinctive highway sign, national park view, 4th of July picnic, or just a well known iconic view, etc WITH a part of or complete Airstream in the view. Nothing says USA like an Airstream.
Not wanting to exclude those of our international friends, celebrate your national heritage and post your pictures for the same effect - I would love to see those too.
