I'll play along. I must state, no photo shop or special effects were employed.

The proper placement for that picture would have been as a submission for the photo contest entitled, "Show us pictures of your Airstream after your GPS took you to your destination via the worst possible way". That is genuine Alabama red clay, from some extremely remote unpaved road somewhere between ATL and Top Sail. We've since decided to take a different route.

You always take the most beautiful photos of your Airstream and have the neatest looking accessories in your Airstream. I seriously think Airstream needs to hire your services for accessorizing and photographing their Airstreams. Without a doubt my favorite photos so far in this month's contest.

Here are a few that I think fit the theme.
All from eastern Oregon, love this part of the state!
Clyde Halliday State Park, the painted hills and mountains coming down from Baker City.

I am planning a busy month - don't know if I'll get around to submitting an official entry. I didn't want to be a poop-a-doop and ignore Steelegood's idea completely, though.
Since this photo does not show part or all of an Airstream, it is automtically disqualifed, but thought you might get a charge out of it. (And it is sorta Airstream related).
This was my entry in a table-design contest for event planners: Trailer Park Queen in glorious flamingo pink. It was fun to put together: the chair covers were pink garbage bags, I stuck the "Dairy Queen" logo onto the charger plates, the flamingos were stuck into plastic grass, toilet paper rolls became flower vases, the tablecloth was a pink shower curtain, and each guest munched on a pink Twinkie with Mountain Dew. There were also pink tiaras and gawdy black and rhinestone sunglasses for all.
If I have time, I'll photograph and submit a serious entry. I went through my picture file and just do not have anything that meets my "Airstream/colour" standard.
Have a good contest all.

Sunset
Here is a photo I took of "Belle" boondocking in a WI field on a hot summer night a few weeks ago. The bright streak across the top is the reflection of an RC airplane (decked out with LED's) flying from left to right.

Okay here is my collage from a recent trip to Aspen Colorado. I headed over Independence Pass (over 12,000 ft) early in the morning before traffic became an issue (probably was a bit over the acceptable length for TV and AS) which it certainly can be tight and probably illegal. A great trip and wonderful part of the USA. It's not only for the uber rich and star gazers, but also for us outdoor enthusiasts.
Safe travels,
Bigcgar

real or fake?
Ok, collage time! Two of these are real; the rest are fakes. Which one is which? (Only the real ones are for the contest!)

Running away from the sun, headed east on I90. The wife doesn't seem to have a problem hanging out the window as we cruise at 65 mph.
